Tantra, Yoni Eggs and the Seven Veils… Just How Sacred Does It Really Get?

WE JUST COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF JUDITH BRUIN!
Episodes 09 featuring Bob Roos and 10 featuring Mike Roseval were launched in October, and ournext guestis already lined up. Staying down to earth in North Holland, we’ll be having a conversationwith Judith Bruin from Sacred Sex Academy.

Judith Bruin joins me on STEAM. And we’re going beyond the incense.
Tantra. Sacred sexuality. Yoni eggs. The seven veils. Words that promise deep connection, feminine power, and a mysterious world where sexuality and spirituality meet. But what actually happens when you dig deeper? And is everything that calls itself sacred really as holy as it sounds?
For two episodes of STEAM, I sat down with Judith Bruin from the Sacred Sex Academy. A woman with her own perspective on sexuality and tantra, with whom I explored these topics in depth. And believe me, there’s plenty to talk about.

What lies behind the seven veils?
We talk about the seven veils, yoni eggs, and the appeal of rituals that promise to bring us closer to our bodies and our sexuality. What can these practices mean for us? What are we looking for when we explore them? And how do we distinguish a meaningful experience from a beautifully packaged story?
Because let’s be honest: when sexuality, spirituality, and personal development come together, things get interesting. But they can also get complicated. The desire to go deeper can make us curious and open-minded. At the same time, it’s important to stay connected to our own feelings, ask questions, and dare to think critically.
And then there’s the shadow side of tantra.
Because tantra also has a side we tend to talk about a little less. Power dynamics, boundaries, expectations, and the risks that can arise when someone invokes spirituality or sexual liberation.
Judith shares her perspective on the dangers of tantra. A subject that, in my view, deserves plenty of space. Because how do you make sure that a search for freedom doesn’t actually take you further away from yourself? When does an experience lead to genuine growth, and when is it time to put on the brakes?
I love conversations that don’t just show us the pretty pictures, but also dare to ask the questions that make us a little uncomfortable.
And that’s exactly what makes these two episodes so interesting.
